 Nowadays if you are getting into some interesting talks or if you are into new job search what is the first question in every one's mind today, "Is it a work from home job or office based job"? Let me ask you what you like the most work from home job or office job. If this question comes to me my answer would be anything is great as both have their own pros and cons. Both are best at their own level.

Let's first understand why work from home is best for most of the people because people find it easy for taking out time for everything. Staying at home has the benefit of a proper work life balance as you can take out time for your family, your children, your wife, you can set a time frame for all things. You can take out time for your extra activities which you always wanted to do but due to office going time and home chores was stopping you to do that. For majority of people this has to be a wonderful time being at home, enjoying work, spending time with family, getting into things which you had not even thought of doing before.

Now getting into the part of why this work from home policy don't work for companies. Normally for companies it's always a better option to operate their work from office as their productivity is effected as people working from home always has delay in work and the work is not done on time and which in turn the work is effected and which results in low productivity. As work from home comes out with a lot of difficulties some have network issues, some have laptops issue, some have timing issues, and so many more reasons. Being in office gives effective work results as there is no delay in meetings, no coordination glitches, everything gets in line and all things goes smoothly.

But we have some portion of people who really hate working from home and some enjoy being at home and work as per their convenience. But one thing which is acceptable by all people working from home that we have to work for extended hours despite of working whole day. It's rightly said that THERE ARE NO WORKING HOURS FOR LEADERS. If you love working from home let's just don't think that why there are extended hours and if you don't need that hours to be extended work on your time perfectly and finish off the work. 

Many companies think upon giving work from home policy to their employees but they also have to understand this a way you can attract new talent too by giving flexibility to their employees. They can get huge benefits too from this their would be less employees falling ill, work life balance for them, reduction in expenses for both companies and employees, no traveling, no traffic issues, now imagine how much time will they get from this instead of going to office. The work is done with slight delay but its done and employees can have flexibility too in timing hours.

In this world there is nothing yet found which has only good things or only bad things. Each have their own prons and cons. So it depends on people how they react to that situation if handled smartly and positively everything will be smooth and perfect. Just go with the flow and enjoy the moment you are in today instead of thinking about advantages and disadvantages.
